Kensington College, a school of professional legal studies, located in
Santa Ana, California, has trained students for legal-support
positions (Legal Secretary, Paralegal, Legal Administrative Assistant) in law offices
throughout Orange County and the greater Los Angeles area for the past fifteen years. The College is
Orange County’s longest running school dedicated exclusively to
legal-support staff training.
Kensington College has a formula for success:
Quality Education + Quality Students = Qualified Graduates
The schools primary goal has always been to specialize exclusively in
preparing adults for successful careers in the legal field at an
affordable cost in the shortest amount of time.
For example, Kensington's 480 hour Paralegal Certificate Program and Legal
Secretary Program each take just six months to complete. Students
typically focus on taking two courses each month, attending class just
three days a week on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. It is also possible to
attend part-time, a great option for working adults, and be able to
complete either program in only twelve months. Part-time students are
usually working adults that attend one class in the evening held three
days a week beginning at
5:40 p.m.
THE PIONEER
IN
LEGAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TRAINING
In 1993 Kensington College recognized the need for a legal-support program
that combined substantive law and procedural law. Therefore, we authored the curriculum for this
new major and created the name “Legal Administrative Assistant”. The name
was later adopted by the legal community. Since then, we have maintained a
commitment to provide the most complete training of unparalleled quality.
We regard our leadership role as the trailblazer of the Legal
Administrative Assistant curriculum to involve a responsibility that is of
the utmost importance to both our students and the legal community:
The
Legal Administrative Assistant program at Kensington College will provide
a thorough understanding of substantive and procedural law.
Practical skills obtained in these key areas will provide a competitive
edge for long-term success. This will also increase earning potential, and
ensure that graduates will become highly valued members
of the legal team.
Class
sizes are limited to maximize student interaction and personal attention
from the instructor. Upon successful completion of all modules, a
paralegal, Legal Secretary, or Legal Administrative Assistant certificate is awarded.
You have taken the first step toward advancing your career in the
ever-growing legal field. Your goals can certainly be accomplished with
the desire and committment to take the necessary steps. Thank you for
taking the time to learn more about the Kensington College experience. I
look forward to meeting you personally.
